We're pleased to present… movies that you're never going to see!
Everyone knows that in most movie previews they give us an overview of the story and basically show the best moments in the movie. So why even bother making a 90-minute dud? Well, "Trailer" gets right down to the good stuff! This program features around thirty trailers for full-length movies that don't even exist. Ninjas with machine guns, Mexican wrestlers, giant crabs, bloody washcloths and lesbian vampires... "Trailer" has got pretty much everything on the menu.

Our "Trailer" program is loaded with fake trailers from every genre of film. The whole idea for "Trailer" started brewing in my mind during my numerous visits to various festivals. In my experience as programmer for "Vitesse lumière", I've seen several fake trailers, but I'll be honest – when I saw Grindhouse, I realized that this project was actually doable. So here it is: a program exploding with variety and a multitude of motley movie ideas packed into a 90-minute screening. We've got around 30 fake trailers grouped into three categories: action, horror and all other genres. Hold on to your hats and prepare to have your mind blown!

Lost in Space
Because every edition of the Festival reveals its share of colourful space characters, this program presents a selection of films that are... shall we say… unusual, with visions and themes that continue to perplex.
We've seen a lot here at REGARD in our thirteen years, but these films leave us with plenty of questions…
Romance, the law and mechanical saws can be found side-by-side in this bizarre selection, and, of course, you can expect to hear "huh?", "oh, come on!" and even a few exclamations of "what the…" throughout the screening. Disturbing stuff.
