Hydro-Québec presents : REGARD REMEMBERS › Sunday, March 15 › 7:30 PM› Auditorium Dufour

For the Festival’s closing night, REGARD is going back in time with a 10-minute short film directed by Boran Richard, followed by a screening of the winning films from REGARD’s 13th edition.

LA MÉMOIRE
[memory]:
This short film takes the viewer on a voyage through the stories of regional family stories from bygone days. This film, directed by filmmaker Boran Richard, presents a “mosaic” of totally unique images and is the unconventional result of piecing together archives and fond memories from the people of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
La Mémoire, a messenger of memories chronicling changes in the past, will be screened on closing night, with musical accompaniment by the Alcan String Quartet.

Quebec-born director Boran Richard has been living and working in Chicoutimi since 2000. Boran has directed several animated shorts, which have been shown at over fifty public events (including festivals in Annecy, Melbourne, and Londres, as well as at the Centre
